back to your 14.3 MPG????? What mods do you have.................that is terrible gas mileage if stock and even worse if semi stock? Trust me when I say that I would be a prime candidate for lower gas mileage than most, I get right at 18 - 18.5 on average? Have that checked out bro!

for 91 octane (the highest you can get in cali), a full tank of gas is costing me about $35-40 bucks at about $2.40 per gallon and up to $2.75 at times. so, you're not paying that much for gas. your mpg is very low and i think it's because of the octane. i've seen those numbers posted before from members using 93 octane. you should switch to 91 octane if it's available. it's the same on the car but will be cheaper and will give you better gas mileage. i'm always getting about 20 mpg....the lowest it's gotten is 19 mpg during the break-in period.

for the past 2 years, i had a 03 5at. i always got from 19-24 mpg with the 19 mpg during the break-in period. i just purchased the 05 6mt and have gotten 19 mpg as well in the first month that i've driven the car. i normally shift between 2500-3000 rpm but up to 3500 rpm when i need it for merging into the freeway. i haven't gone up to 4000 rpm yet due to the break-in period. but i really believe it's the 93 octane gas. many other members have commented on the low gas mileage on 93 octane.

According to my nav I sit around 18.1 MPG and shift anywhere from 3k to 4k depending where I am going, and drive pretty hard like 3 times a day . 14 MPG, I would say have that checked out.

you are not getting as own3d as me. First of all, after break in, you will get more MPG. Initially, I got 10 then I got 14 or 15. Now, I drive like a whako and average 8 to 12. At least my gas costs 2.10 for 93 shell/2.09 sunoco.

$4.58 for 91 here in Nova Scotia, Canada. Doing the conversion to U.S dollars and U.S. gallons that's about $2.99/gal. so you guys still have it pretty good!

21.85 MPG with my last 16 gallon fillup with low fuel light just turning on. I didn't baby the car either. I fill up about twice a week because it's a 75 mile round trip to work and back.

All this on the stock RE050A tires that my car came with. The interesting thing is that this tire is pretty sticky when I was feeling the thread. All my previous tires on my old car (KDW,RE0730,KUMHO's) never felt this tacky =P .

~$2.50 here in San Diego for 91 Octane. 93 cannot give worse gase milage than 91 w/ all things being equal. It can however be a slight overkill given your car has no pinging with the lower grade octanes.

I am averaging 20.2 mpg with 6kmiles on the clock with moderate to slightly agressive driving <-- I can't resist.
