Water/Meth Injection on a NA car???

Hear me out here.

Is it reasonable to run meth on a NA G35? Seems like easy power to me. The benefits of the engine cleaning seem very good as well. Also the price is right with the kit costing about $400 and a gallon of mix being around $2. If this did work, would I need a tune? and lastly how much power can stock G components withstand?

all input is appreciated

To answer both your questions the answer would be yes and no. Below is a quote from another forum.
“The properties of methanol absorbs heat much better than just straight water injection, which lowers the risk of detonation so people can run more aggressive timing and higher boost pressures with turbo and supercharger. For a street car, people will use water/meth injection in conjunction with ECU programming so that it will only start injecting at a specific boost pressure or if intake air temps start to rise or any number of parameters the ECU can see. I used to see water/meth used a lot in the past on Evo's and they would get these kits and run 40psi and make damn near 450whp on pump gas. its a lot less expensive to run a water/meth kit than it is to run race gas at $9+ per gallon.it can be used just as a cooling agent, with no additional tuning. Or a car can be tuned for it to make more power - however if you run out in the middle of a race you'll have problems that can potentially cost you an engine, so you'll always need to make sure you're topped off. - GreyGhost”
