Hello i just bought a G35 coupe and immediately took it to autozone to get the service light checked out and they said that it might need timing and recommended me to a shop nearby, they told me it was o2 sensors and some other sensors and ended up charging me $600. i just want to know did i get hustled or is that a standard price because now they’re telling me i need a new a catalytic converter that’s $700+ with a $120 labor cost just to pass smog

Theyre kinda trying to hustle you. Youre better off getting your parts online and paying the labor or better yet doing it yourself, provided you have a jack, stands, breaker bar and a torque wrench. Look up "high flow cats" you can get some smog legal ones for around $300+ and o2 sensor you can get from advance auto or autozone. After that you should be good.

AV2 did say "...they told me it was o2 sensors and some other sensors...", so maybe not an over charge.
AV2, did you have the car inspected by an Infiniti dealership before you handed over the money, and was the CEL on when you bought it?
I hope you have no more "problems"...they can get expensive. Good luck!
