New owner and maybe quickest ex-owner

06 Black on Black G35 Coupe Manual
Nashville, Tn

Sunday the 2nd I purchased my car in Atlanta GA. Drove home from atlanta to nashville tn. Drove it a little on monday. Didn't drive at all tuesday. Today i take it back out to the interstate and use the cruise control and it kept cutting out on hills. I drove it around for a bit then noticed i couldn't get a gear but it would kick in eventually when i rev enough. Well, my car is now at the infiniti dealer getting checked seeing if the clutch is completely gone. I know it isn't covered by manuf. warranty but hoping the dealership will pay for it with their 3month 3k miles limited warranty. If not i'll prolly lemon law it. Thus making me car less again.

love the car though. just sucks this had to happen

Sorry for the problems so quickly, but one cannot just use the lemon law when they please, it's actually extremely hard to lemon law a car, so good luck

I really feel bad for you, but like you said, it went out on YOU in 3 days. Who knows what the previous owner did to it. Normal wear and tear items like clutch and brake pads generally aren't covered under warranty. We all have our strokes of bad luck, looks like this is one of yours. That's just a risk buying a used car. If it were a new G35/G37 and the clutch went out in 3 days then I'm sure Infiniti would have fixed it.

well, i made a complaint to BBB about the company that sold me the car. I've already purchased parts to replace and the infiniti dealership is working on it as we speak. The dealership that sold me the car responded to BBB by asking for a read out from the vehicle. This is making Infiniti talk to the dealership and he is going to bat for me about it. He is also gonna try to see what he can do about the brakes because he sold the car to me under the min. standards from what i understand. Not sure what is going to happen. I've already paid for eveything pretty much. I can bite the bullet but I would prefer to get something out of it. Oh after i spoke on here can only LL new cars in GA. Thanks everyone

so the Infiniti dealership is trying to install the new JWT clutch and flywheel and either they didn't install it right or CP didn't send the right parts. Hope they get it fixed this time around so i don't have to pay double for installation.

I would imagine if it never left their shop you shouldnt' have to pay a dime of their mistake. Hope it all works out soon and you can begin truly enjoying the G experience!
