Hey G35MP, I was actually in the exact same shoes not too long ago, maybe about 2.5 weeks ago? Only difference is mine is an 04, but yeah the clutch on my g35 had close to no miles on it left and the friction point but was sooo high but what did I know at the time?

Anyways, my dealer ended up paying half for my clutch except, they did the labor and I don't know what kind of quality job they do but I did threaten them hehe
