I find extra virgin olive oil works well...But it is a bit pricier...

 

Since you already switched to Mobil 1, I would stay with synthetics. Any one of them should be fine (Q, M1, Amsoil, RedLine, Castrol GTX, etc). You don't have to change the oil as much as dino oil, because synth's have a higher capacity for suspending contaminants. 5 to 7k interval should be OK.

Since you switched to synth at 1200 miles, let us know if you down the road if you start burning oil.
