Helpp 06 g35 coupe transmission problems

I have a 2006 g35 coupe which I purchased around 2 months ago with 150,xxx miles, I've done 2 oil changes so far, car has around 155,xxx miles I live in arizona where it's really hot I've never checked the transmission fluid. But now when I start my car it starts up good and revs good in park, but when you start driving for a short period the serivce engine soon light comes on and the car feels very sluggish and will drive only around 1800-2900ish rpms. If I'm to come to a stop the car will accelerate verryy slow like if I have no power at all I'm able to reach 60mph but like 30 seconds slower than before. I've changed my air filter and cleaned the Maf senor. I took the car to O'rilys to get scanned but I was told have a burnt fuse and need to replace that first before the car could get scanned.

Thats not a transmission problem. Your car has just gone into limp mode(safe mode) because the ECU sensed something wrong with it.

Ive never heard of a burnt fuse preventing the car to be scanned for codes. If the check engine light is on, the scanner should be able to read it. Either buy your own cheap little scanner or take it to an autozone or somewhere else to get the code read.
