Unhappy Turn signal electrical issue? G35 Coupe 2007

Whenever I get in my car, a 10-20 second timer gets set off which sounds like the turn signal is
on but it isn't. When the timer is clicking, various lights start flashing - the headlights, side
markers, and tail lights all flash like the hazards are on. The center-console clock flashes in-
sync with the timer and the 3 buttons under the wheel (VDC, Trunk, and Dashboard light
strength) all start flashing until the timer ends.

It's not just getting in the car that sets it off either, it's any door opening or closing, the trunk
opening or closing, or even when I drive and then brake and come to a complete stop. Literally
the second the car completely stops, it sets the timer off again and all the lights described
above will flash for 10-20 seconds and then it'll stop.

No warning lights on the dashboard. I've tried pressing every single button in my car to see if it
somehow stops it from triggering - no luck there.

Spoken to various "car people" about this and none of them have any idea what's going on. I'm
guessing the electrics are shorting out somewhere or a fuse is faulty?

I'm so confused.

The Consult lll at any Infiniti dealer can tell you.

Are you using a properly programmed key Fob?
Has anything gotten wet or was your vehicle ever driven in water or involved in a flood
Does your vehicle have the fiberboard shroud underneath the vehicle attached?

I don't know why the key fob would be setting it off?
No it hasn't gotten wet - One day it was working fine, I went back to it another day and all of this was happening.
Fiberboard shroud? I have no idea where or what that would like?

Have you looked for any aftermarket electronics that might be installed. Aftermarket alarms, stereo, remote start, ANYTHING aftermarket.

I honestly don't know what to look for. When I bought the car, the old owner told me it had an aftermarket alarm, everything else seems to be stock. I've spoken with a mechanic today who also said it was most likely the after market alarm system.

Okay so I've made a discovery - just walked out to my car and pressed the unlock button and then got in, no more electrical issue! So it turns out the aftermarket alarm was active, anything I was doing was setting it off when I was in the car, it's just the horn wasn't sounding and that was throwing me off. Glad that it's fixed now though!
