Just noticed this today, the light does not work as per my video. It does work as a turn signal but not as a light?

Turn your headlights to BRIGHTS and they will turn on.

g35 sedan , navigation package
its the same with my 03 sedan. i have also noticed another g35 sedan with those not working except when indicating. i don't think they are meant to be on other than when using to indicate.

Ahh ok. Thats your turn signal which doubles as a parking light.

Its a dual filament bulb. The filament for the parking light burned out so only the blinker works now. All u gotta do is change the bulb. Bulb type is 7443.

Ok that light is ONLY a turn signal light, it's not a parking light, the only time it ever illuminates is when you hit the turn signal, the hazard flasher, the lock/unlock on your fob, or if the security system goes off (hazard function).

It looks like your right front turn signal is malfunctioning because it's constantly ON.

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure mine is a single filament and it's only a turn signal. 2006 coupe.

Hmm. On my 2005 it comes on with the parking lights and also doubles as a blinker.

But on this bulb reference thread, they have the dual filament bulb listed for 03-05 and the single filament listed for 06-07. If that really is correct, maybe Nissan changed it up for the later year models?? https://g35driver.com/forums/lightin...ent-guide.html

Easiest way to tell is to take a look at the harness for the bulb and see how many wires go to it. 2 wires= Single filament. 3 wires= Dual filament.

It's dual filament on the older pre face lift G's.
