CZP V2 75mm Throttle body - opinions

I have been on the fence for this mod for some time - the newer V2 is out and only $335 shipped, so I am wondering what your opinions are if the value is there to purchase or not. I am FBO with the exception of the throttle body. I have a JWT pop charger and am already tuned with uprev, I see so many comments and videos saying to do it, but am starting to doubt the value in my current state.

To reference the one pc drive shaft that ended up not being a mod that worked well with my setup, I finally removed it shortly after install.... I wanted to put a feeler out and read your thoughts on the topic of the throttle body-

Thanks in advance-

Andy

What did you not like about a light weight drive shaft? It reduces rotational forces and allows power to build quicker in real world applications.

Vibration over 90mph is terrible - felt like I had a both wheel bearings going out. It was balanced and even foam filled - but my car vibrates something awful at speed.

Was your driveshaft aluminum or carbon fibre? I have the one piece on my g and cruise at 140km daily on the highway. Also interested in the throttle body mod, I got hfc and am gonna get a tune figured I’d get this at the same time.

The TB would be one of the final mods for a N/A setup, it must be used along with a 3.5" or 4" intake. The MAF takes up enough of the area of the 3.5" that it essentially reduces the diameter to 3 inches which is exactly the same as the 75mm TB. With both mods added (and properly tuned) they definitely add power.

I think you have a bad 1 piece driveshaft, take it to a local shop that can balance it because something is wrong.

Thanks Cleric - had a guy drive my G at the drag strip and he said the same thing. If its even a little unbalanced, the higher the speed the more its noticeable. I have it sitting in my garage pending a shop visit. ALso, I had them foam fill to reduce vibration, wondering if they did it after the balance causing some issues. Either way - I wasnt to happy with a $600 dollar mod that vibrated my feet off at speed.

For the 75mm - when I way the costs + re-tune, my local Z club is telling me the bottle would be the better option. For about $1200 - can throw a 75 shot on her and never have to worry about mustangs again. I have the baby WRX for autocross -but nothing rides like my G. Even the wife prefers the the G over my other toys... even with test pipes!!

Looking like I will hold off on the 75mm for the time being and invest in a bottle for the baby.

It depends on how often you have to REFILL that bottle
