My question... There seems be a light coating of fluid as seen in the photos.


Are these blown ?

 

Definitely looks like they're leaking. Also looks like they're rebuildable since it's got provisions to get that gland nut off, should just need a gland nut wrench and the seals. I'd call the manufacturer and ask them to verify though, see if they also offer dust boots to prevent that top gland seal from prematurely failing in the future.

 

I emailed K Sport.

They advised me that there always going to seep out oil to keep shaft lubricated. And that when they do blow, the entire coilover and wheel well will both be covered in tons of oil.



So yeah....
