where i am, there's no infiniti dealer so i solved the problem on my own.
If i were you i would come up with a detailed explanation of the problem (as i did) and take it to your dealer. (or even better, also get the car "hot" and take it to the dealer and show them immidiately) anyway, they should be able to verify it if it does really happen as you say, and will probably replace the pads and see that the problem is solved. your problem should be fixed, for free, as i believe it is a defect in the assembly of the pad and is not necessarily from wear and tear.
The only way it will not be fixed for free is if the problem is caused by your pads already being worn out.
Don't let this issue make you feel like your brakes are worthless. You've got a solid car and solid brakes. Just take a little time to make some observations and tell/show the dealer exactly what the situation is. I hope it works out for you.

I had the same problem....quiet squealing at around 35-40 mph....sometimes it went away after making a turn. I had an oil change at the dealership...<gasp>....and just told them what has happening. They adjusted the brakes and they were fine after that...it was a freebie. I had the same kind of problem on another car....the caliper wasn't tightened well so it was moving and causing the screech.
I had the same (or similar)problem with my 6MT Brembo's as well. All of a sudden a horrible scraping sound started coming from the front wheels. It was loud and very annoying. It seemed to accentuate after the car warmed up after some driving around. Also, it was louder at low speeds and went away while stepping on the breaks. Took it in to get looked at got the typical response "couldn't replicate it". My guess is they tried to look at it after the car had been sitting for a while.
A couple of days later I stopped at the dealer and had one of the service guys bring a technician to listen to the scraping sound it had been making. I just told the service person to get somebody to listen to this for a minute. That's really all it took. The technician said the Rotors where warped
and needed to be replaced.
How the hell that happened is beyond me. The tech didn't have any ideas and said Brembo's tend to be really good. I still don't know what caused it. I don't race or anything like that, and even driving hard is out of the question during winter in MI. Regardless, Infiniti replaced the rotors under warranty and all is good now.

You can get the 19's on the autos, so you can't tell just by looking from the exterior anymore that a G Coupe is a 6MT or auto.
