Question Question About brembos on 6mt

I am looking for a used 03-04 G35 coupe 6mt. Prices are still high for used ones in LA, around 30 thousand, with 20-40 thousand miles. My question is do all of the 03-04 6mt come with brembos standard or is it an option.

Thank You

Yes they were. Brembos were only available for 6MT for 03 and 04, not for AT.

Definitely standard for all manual transmission 04's and like the others pretty sure it was the same case for the 03's.

You can't tell on the '05's from the outside now that a G Coupe is a 6MT or not.

i had this same problem.
replacing my brake pads solved it.
i switched to hawk street pads (same as nismo), but i would bet that replacing the oem pads would work just as well.
i think it is caused by the back plate of the pads being improperly made, causing the wear indicator to prematurely touch the rotor.

edit: see here for more info:

i hope that helps you

re-read my post in the other thread. the symptoms of your problem look like the same as mine. i dont know if it affects you when you turn, thats how mine was.. .eventually i was hearing it when driving straight and cruising. (point 8 - which eventually got worse to the point of driving straight) if i held the brakes i did NOT hear it. (point 7)

good luck
