Backup Camera Recommendation?
Backup Camera Recommendation?
I know this has been posted before but it's 2020 now and I wanted to know which backup camera would yield best picture results on Pioneer AVIC 8400 NEX display (not sure if its 720 or 1080p). The license plate mounted one I have currently sucks at night especially when light is projected towards it. I do like the low-profile look of the license plate ones but am open the smaller ones (I've seen some people mount them on the side of the plate bracket). Here is a couple I was looking at, not sure if Boyo is the best brand so if anybody has other recommendations please let me know.

Another thing is mine currently has the parking lines that I am sick of because they are slow to react to my steering wheel movements. So my main focus with my next one is picture quality above all else without going overkill on them and wasting money towards my setup. The VTL 375 is obviously the most expensive one and don't want to be paying only for the convenience of having the camera/bracket in one piece.
Thanks!
Another thing I was also considering adding since I'm driving with a bunch or bonehead drivers in the bay area is at least a front dashcam. I heard good things about this Blackvue and Rexing but if anyone has other suggestions once again let me know. The Blackvue comes with a rear included... is it really worth it/needed?

I've had the Rexing for a few years and it has a rear camera as well. I've been happy with it. I've seen many drivers tailgating me and back off when they see the camera in my rear window.
I don't mind the idea of having one for peace of mind but does it take up a lot of space on the back window? Don't really want to have it stand out like a sore thumb but if it looks somewhat discreet that would be a plus.
I have a Kenwood DD and a Kenwood camera that is made for the rear licence plate. I think it was CMOS200 or something like that. Its worked fine for years. There are no lines to help park though.
No lines to park is actually a plus for me, since I use the side mirrors for that anyways. The picture looks better without those lines on the screen. And not meaning to bash your choice but for some reason I heard CCDs have better night vision than CMOs which is something I'm looking for since the one I have right now has really bad night vision.
