Here is a possibility. Jim Wolf had found early on that running boost can cause the ECU to go into limp home mode due to the MAF generating higher than expected voltage.

I experienced it myself after upping the boost level and it throws no codes. The cure is a MAF voltage clamp to prevent it from exceeding the expected range. Mine took a time reset to fix the ECU. It sounds like yours was only temporary but who knows. For what its worth.

Does it do that from a slow roll or just after a shift? wondering if your clutch isn't clamping under torque. My 6.2l turbo mustang was doing that at lower RPM's and I burned up a couple clutch & flywheels until I went twin disc. But it was also making over 600ft/lbs tq haha
If it was maxing the MAF voltage and going into limp you would have to reset the ECU, I know this because I have hit the limit before and I clamped the MAF to fix the issue.

Mine for sure was not a clutch issue since It doesn't have one. The limp home modet hit at peak wot/boost just before a shift point and left no codes but the motor would not run over about 2500 until the ECU did a time reset. The tech article by Wolf said the same thing about no codes. Your experience was differant but I threw this out becasue of it occurring at the top of the curve.

Hard to tell from the 1 sec audio clip. Does it do it every shift and at around 4500-4700 peak torque? What are you tuning with?
here is the whole clip. Right after the the first shift
