with springs or coilovers don't u need camber kits to get alignment up to oem specs so that u don't have uneven tirewear? and that adds to the additional price????? btw i think this thread should be in the mods/tech - wheels, brakes, tires, suspension section

Most people unless racing... would only readjust their suspension a few time to get it just right after installation. ANd then it would be set in that particualr setting.

BUT..... problem with adjusting your suspension hight... is you need to do a 4 wheel alignment as well. So is it cost effective to adjust the hight get alignment and so on and so on.

For those who do shows it could be better... cause they can slam the car down. But again.. cost of doing alignment (unless its a show car then who cares)

Springs are way easier. Just get the desired drop... BUY SHOCKs.. dont wast the time and money doing it later do it all at once. Then you are all set for a long time.

I think a really great set up woul dbe H&R and KONI. or if you go for coilover set up... H&R COIL OVER KIT $$$
I agree but i dont think Koni makes shocks for the G yet, had to bring this thread back from the dead

Depends how low you go. I would agree with you for any drop over an inch. Some of us are looking for a mild drop where a realignment can put the car back in spec and you don't even need a camber kit. In such a case, I'd say yes the shocks will wear a little sooner, but not to the point where it's worth going to coilovers. Unfortunately, "i2ob81" didn't mention why he wanted height adjustment nor how much he was looking for.
