All my friends are saying that i'll smoke the accord, but the accord owner swears he can beat me. He's so sure he wants to put a $100 bet. I can't race him yet cause im still breaking in my car. Need some answers guys. Oh, and both of our cars are stock.

1. are you racing on the track? cuz if not, please think twice b4 racing on the road... down in Vancouver BC, Canada, there has been a couple recent cases of street racing gone bad, resulting in deaths in both the racing parties and the innocent bystanders..

the police in Vancouver are once again cracking street racing down HARD.... i already got pulled over twice just bcuz the G looks like it had (exact word from the officer) "the potential to go fast and street race".... <~ what a phrase...

ok my friend has an 04 6MT accord coupe......aem v2 intake along with a greddy evo II exhaust set up.....and i have [look at my sig] not much.....and i take him all considering we have even launches.....and i burn 5AT g35's all the time from a stand still....so bet your friend 200 or even 3!!! just make sure you launch correctly!!

If you do not know how to properly launch your car, your 1/4 mile time is going to be something like 16-18 seconds vs. 14 sec for a pro. An auto accord could just stomp on the gas and probably beat you.

Nod would go to the G35C. 6 speed Accord V6 coupe would be another story. All the car mags have it at almost identical 0-60 and 1/4 timesto the G35. One thing for sure though, the Honda V6 is vastly superior. Drive a VQ for a while and then drive one of these engineering marvels. All on regular unleaded to boot.

 

like the other great quote from another post, just say to the guy that win or lose, you're driving a g35 coupe and he's just driving a honda accord....so who fricken' cares who wins.

 

i raced a honda accord v6, model prior to the current one from 2nd gear and smoked him pretty bad, stopped at 70mph tho.

don't flame, just need an explanation of why when NDg35CHO posts something about racing, it's not cool, but when a supercharged g35 races an M3 and smokes it, it's cool.
