03 G35 Sedan no start possible wet fuse box

So I went to a drive thru car wash and noticed water dripping from the top of driver side A-pillar and also on my left foot close to where the fuse box is. When I left there, the door locks, windows and turn signals were not working. After I got home and turned off engine, it wouldn't start back up.

I think water came in through the sun roof and ran down the a-pillar and got to the fuses. I checked all the fuses they seem to be ok.

I'm going to try to remove the fuse box assembly and dry everything out with heat gun and electric contact cleaner. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

Don't touch it - you're better off just letting everything dry out on it's own. It might take a day or two depending on weather or if it's garaged. In the mean time, take some grass cutter string and feed it through the drains on each side of the roof opening, you may have a blockage.

Treat it like a wet cell phone, remove the wet components and put them in a bag of rice. If you leave it you're going to have a lot of corrosion. I wouldn't use a heat gun or contact cleaner, just get it dry and plug it in.

Make sure to take a good picture of all the fuse locations, you're going to want to disassemble the fuse box completely, shake all the rice out when you're done
