Car Troubles

Hey all,

Well i must say that i am pretty pissed, my car had to be flat bedded to the dealer last night with only 4800 km on it . It all started after the gym, i had driven there without a problem, i did my workout but when i got out of the gym i started the car and the Service Engine soon, the VDC and the Slip light were on. The car went into limp mode, has anyone had this happen to then?? What would cause this on a car with such low mileage??

It may be as simple as a bad maf sensor, I am sure they will find and fix the problem in no time.

yes an oiled up k&n could easily mess up the MAF sensor at least it was a problem on the nissan vqs in 02-03. All you can do is wait until they check it out. they may not even notice the k&n if it is in the stock air box. I assume they gave you a loner car!

You could have done a simple gas pedal reset and that would taken the car out of a MA-induced limp mode, that would be a good way to check. But, given that the VDC/Slip came on as well, I am not 100% sure that it is the MAF, but it still very possible.
