2005 G35 Coupe Starting Issues

Hey Friends!! New to the forum, Just picked up this 05 Coupe for my GF and we are having issues with I guess the starter perhaps??
Vehicle is fully stock and we did get a code for the cam sensors so I changed them out with new ones. Reset the ECU and test OK. However the issue is that when we try to start it we either have to press the gas pedal maybe 5 times before it starts. If that doesn't work I pop it into neutral and crank it with gas it starts.. once the car is started it runs fine. We took it a few laps around the block for 10 mins up to 75km and let it run for 30 min to see if it would stall or if there are any new codes... there were none. Drives great once we get it going ... we only seem to have problems with starting the car. Battery is fully charged but not brand new. Suggestions please and thank you. =)

I had the same issue when my cam sensors went bad. Although, my car would randomly stall sometimes while driving.

Did u change out the cam and crank sensors with OEM ones? These cars are super sensitive for some reason and aftermarket sensors just dont work well.

Hey Friend yes they were OEM.. i had trouble installing them so i ended up taking everthing out so i can get a better view of the cam sensor 2 (driverside) i saw that the connector was damaged from previous owner... so i got another harness and replaced it. reset ECM and BOOM!!! started first try... i also ended up buying an IPDM because that was going to be my next step if this failed... but man it finally got working and we are so relieved. Thanks for helping out bro appreciate it !!
