Talking Changing Valve covers

So I have a 2004 g35 coupe 6 speed.

I was changing out my spark plugs when I noticed oil in one of my wells. Not a huge issue, I bought new valve covers, gaskets, spark plugs, also new camshaft sensors (since I was already in the area.).
I changed everything out, I made sure to put sealant on the gaskets.
NOW
I turned my car on and its choking, rpms are bogging every few seconds, also getting some smoke (which is new) from under the hood. I can't make out exactly where it is coming from either but looks like driver side rear.
I ran codes and I received P0223, P0123 (confirmed).
Pending codes are same as above and P0113.
Im not sure what to do, I'm going to retackle this tomorrow after work again, is there something I did wrong?
Can the smoke be stuff just burning off from changing out the valve covers, sealant just setting?
Should I do an ecu reset?

P0223 and P0123 are both throttle body related. Did you disconnect or try to clean the throttle body? With these cars, you cannot touch/clean the throttle plate, otherwise you have to do an Idle re-learn. If you disconnect it, I believe you have to do the Throttle closed relearn

These cars do not play well with aftermarket cam sensors. OEM or Hitachi are the only ones I've heard work without issues.
The smoke might be oil that landed on the exhaust during your VC change. Check for leaks.

Don't know about the throttle body stuff. I have a 2003 6spd Coupe and have had the throttle body off numerous times and also cleaned it a few times as needed. I have never had to do any "relearning" regarding the throttle body.

Same. Changed my valve cover gaskets twice over a few years and started up fine. I still did the relearn with NDS2 because I heard about the common problem. Makes me wonder if the problem differs if people disconnect the battery or not. I would check all the hoses for cracks. Also double check that the coil pack connectors are in the right order

Soooooo I figured it out, my plenum was cracked more than I thought (changed it out, I got lucky with a near by car) , I still have a little rough idle so I’m going gap my spark plugs to maybe .38 other than .044 how they come. I also cleaned my MaF sensor and my throttle body and everything is close to sound.

the smoking went away so I’m guessing it was burnt off oil/ coolant.

I did a throttle body position reset, also Did a ecu reset (all I did was leave the negative terminal undone for a few minutes) and everything seems fine.
