Nooooo.....the tube is not faulty!!! RIGHT!
That is not good my friend.
A few chrome flakes sucked into your intake.....maybe adds 5-8 hp????

Hey, thanks for posting this warning... I bought mine 1 months ago and just check it last nite... mine was fine... there was no chipping inside the tube... maybe u should ask for an exchange...

Makes a good case for their polished and carbon fiber G tubes.

I figured the metal ones would act too much like a heat sink anyway.

Sorry to hear about the flaking problem, and I hope the situation gets resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

**UPDATE**

Still nothing back from UT, I've asked if they would just replace my tube with one of their other ones and I've also sent them a link to this thread so they can view it. Still nothing...

hmm doesn't sound too promising to me..no UT for me as of now. And to think I was going to get their CF G-tube..oh well

Oh S**t I bought that same tube about two months ago! I guess I will go home tonight and remove it. I hope that UT will understand when I ask for an exchange for a plastic one. Thanks for the heads up. UT if you are reading this get ready for an exchange for me.
