My UT CF G Tube looks fine and reached me in a timely manner, but I ordered it from Performance Nissan.

Haven't seen anyone else with the CF G Tube that has had any problems with it. I think the chrome tube is the only thing of concern... ...as well as the customer service issue that this member has had with them.

Couple of things...

(1) The inside of the tube should NEVER be plated. It is simple to make a tool to mask the inner portions of the tube before it is "dipped" into the vat of plating.

(2) We should wait until UT comes on here and attempts to give their side of the argument before we bash them.

(3) If UT doesn't handle this with EXTREME care and soon, watch out because...

"yall gonna make me loose my head, up in here, up in here..."

i thought UT was a reputable company... but for them to know about this thread and not reply or handle the concerns of many owners of their products, really worries me. good luck to those who have these tubes.. still waiting patiently for my CF one to come, when it does, i will thoroughly inspect it, take pictures of it, after a few months take it off and inspect it again. if something was to go bad inside, i will give them a can of whoop ***!

Agree with Neffster here, "The inside of the tube should NEVER be plated". I dont think there is any company that does that also. My friend has the UT Chrome pipe and he bought it from one of the Infiniti dealer here in NY, I have purchased the Carbon Fiber style from the same dealer, both tubes are made with high quality materials, if you think you got a bad tube, just give UT a call and have them to exchage it or refund your money. Just my opinion.

We have already addressed your issue directly and asked you to give us a call. But since you prefer to post our reply, would you now please give us a call?

Thank you.

Two of my buddy's has the chrome tube. One on a Z and the other a G, and we noticed they both looked like that when they got it. So i don't think it's chipping over time.
We checked my friends the other day and it seems fine, no signs of flaking or peeling. I wouldn't worry so much. UT sells quality stuff and I'm sure you'll resolve this in no time.

THE MASSACRE--~ get it.

My question is why? Just paint the Z-Tube with chrome metallic paint and be done with it.

Can I ask what is the difference between the CF Z and G tube? Other than the fact that the CF Z-Tube is longer? I think the CF Z-Tube looks better than the G-Tube so why are people getting the G? Is fittment or function the problem? Thanks!

The G tube is made for the G and the Z tube made for the Z. As far as fitment, the G tube is more curved like an "S" somewhat and the Z tube is like angled then straight. I think it's more fitment.
