Hello, wondering if anyone out there with 2007 G35 MT have their camshaft positioning sensor keep going out. replaced this sucker 3 times now and still get check engine with code P1078
Installed recently Injen cold Air, 5/16 plenum spacer and 3 point oil catch can.....any ideas going crazy....

Did u use OEM sensors to replace it? These cars dont work well with aftermarket for some reason.

Did u replace the correct sensor?

Hi,
yes initially I didn't use OEM and learned my lesson, but then I purchase Japanese Hitachi sensor. This is for Bank 1 ( Passenger side) that keep going bad. Wires looks good also

Check the contacts in the connector if you can.
