Colder spark plugs
Colder spark plugs
Hopefully someone can help me i recently installed 2 step colder spark plugs because im planning on spraying 100 shot of nitrous and now white smoke is coming out under the engine and exhaust, i was told it was the unburn fuel making it safer for a bigger shot of nitrous. Is my car okay to drive ?
Wet or dry kit? Any smoke coming from the engine bay should be immediately investigated. I don't know the context of what you were told but it sounds like total bullshit.
Wet kit and what do you think the white smoke is from then?

When you replaced your plugs were any of the old ones covered in oil?

You guys are making my job harder, now I have to edit out a bunch of posts. For the future please don't engage in this kind of back and forth on the forums, I'm not going to issue any strikes just give a verbal warning.
As for the smoke coming under the hood I still recommend checking everything with the car on a lift IF IT WAS IN FACT SMOKE.
If it wasn't smoke then it might have been coolant steam, nitrous install typically has a purge valve as well that you will use to clear vapor from the line to make sure you only have liquid NOS in the line. I don't think this is what you were seeing though because it's a manually activated button and you would know you were purging.
If you suspect any engine damage get a compression and leakdown test. You might have pushed the HG a little and it would definitely show on those tests.
