Engines compatible with g35 coupe 2005 rwd

Hey guys just wondering what engines are compatible with my new car and first g35 I guess I’m in the club now.
it’s a 2005 rwd I bought it with a blown engine so i am currently looking for a new one and wondering what vehicles or what years as well I can pull a engine from to put into my 2005.

thanks so much in advance for any help :-)

hopefully my project will be up and running soon

Is it a 6MT or 5AT?
05+ Manual transmission cars have the 'RevUp' version of the VQ35DE. Automatics retained the standard VQ35DE, which are much more commonly available and cheaper to buy used.

You need the regular VQ35DE, one that came installed in a G35, 350Z, M35 or FX35. Not the transverse (front wheel drive) one from a Maxima or Altima.

You need the NON-revup version, here's a picture so you can easily tell which one it is just by looking.

The rev-up only came on the 2005-2006 6MT sedan, 2005-2007 6MT coupe and 2005-2006 350Z. It's fairly difficult to find a rev-up since nearly ALL models came with the non-rev version, which is good for you since the market is full of the ones you need.
