Hey guys I have a 2003 G35 coupe. Just put new tires on the rear BUT for some reason if I go into a right turn curve over 45-50 mph my VDC light comes on and the car starts to lose traction like a small sliding action but then recovers. Kinda nervous to drive it like that. I do not know if I need to replace the lower control arm or what ? Any assistance would gladly appreciated.

What size tires did you put on? And what were the original tire sizes for the car? IIRC the VDC is set for a 3% difference front to rear rolling diameter. If you're stock-size all around, are your fronts worn? Low tread on one axle may be making the computer I think you are losing traction early because the new tires are tall and the old tires are short, hence throwing off the calculations.Originally Posted by Ed H
