Rear suspension too low.

Hey all, I recently installed tein street basis Z coilovers on my '03 G35C, and they seem WAY too low, the fronts are just fine. But the wheels seem to tuck under the fender even when the adjustment is near the bottom (pic related). Did I not install or set them properly? It looks like this on both sides. Im about 3 coils from the bottom. Help would be appreciated!

Take a picture up behind the rear tire at the top adjustment nut so I can see how much thread you have left.

The rear has adjustment of about -1/2" to -2" compared to stock. You're about -2" it looks like.

If I had to guess I'd say you didn't reinstall the rubber spacer on the top. Here's a pic.

The spacer is still on. Is that the only one on top? Or do I use the original lower?

You use the original lower too.

I would jack up the rear and spin that adjustment collar on the top all the way to the lowest position (bottom of the threads, which makes the overall assembly LONGER). Just run the bottom nut all the way until the threads are flush then jamnut the top one down on top of it.

How many inches is it to your wheel arch (the fender/quarterpanel metal directly above the center of the wheel).

That looks pretty good to me. You’re going to have to get toe bolts and camber arms (if I recall correctly all the way back to 2005 when I did this). Even with a modest drop in the back my camber was way off, Front handles a drop much better.
