All seasons or summer tires?

All season I've had good results with the Kumho Ecsta I have on it right now. First set of all seasons I've ever put on the car so I don't have much to compare against for this platform.

Summer tires obviously it's hard to go wrong with Michelin pilot sports, I also really liked the Kumho Ecsta summer version.

If you want budget tires it's REALLY hard to find anything not to like with Kumho Ecsta, they're literally almost half the price of a set of Michelins and you get about 90% of the performance.

If you need DOT legal track tires the Mickey Thompson ET Street is definitely my recommendation but a friend swears by the BFGoodrich R1. Track only then there's a few more options but all the major brands (MT, Hoosier, BFG, etc) work fine.

Kumho Ecsta PA51, I order through Tirerack usually, I think I paid $650 total but I don't typically have to pay for mount/balance so you would probably need to add that to the price.

I got Pirelli P zero all season plus' on my coupe. I haven't driven them in snow yet but they handle pretty well in the dry. A very sharp turn in the wet and you will slide out but that is to be expected. I think they are a good compromise of sporty yet potentially capable if it gets cold. Probably will handle like crap in the snow but any all season will do that.
