I want to change my head unit (g35 sedan 2003 w/ bose), I am buying the Metra 99-7604 kit, but I have been reading that because I have a bose system the sound using a 70-7550 will max out at 10, therefore I need to use either or . Which one do I really need?

 

I would check Wrathernaut's stick in the audio/visual subforum. I think there's a parts list of what's needed and I THINK it's the NIS2.
