No illumination from tails unless breaks are depressed.
Like it says in the title. My 07 coupe tails dont work, the break lights do, and I have no illumination from my center console. Also my dimmer does not work for my dash lights. I believe I tried to replace all the sparks a while back but nada. Do I have a short somewhere or is my BCM going? No other electrical malfunctions (I've been daily driving this car during the day for over a year like this) so not sure how the BCM could be shorted for so long and only effect the tails and console lights but what do I know? Any input appreciated!
Front and rear cameras, tire pressure for all four tires can display on screen, folding side view mir

When you say the dimmer for the dash is malfunctioning do you mean the intrumentation doesn't automatically switch to it's dim setting when you turn the headlights on or do you mean that once it does switch to dim mode with the headlights on then you cannot trim the brightness?
The illumination controller dimmer switch doesn't connect to the BCM, it connects directly to the instrument cluster.
The brake lights are not controlled by the BCM either.
I would start by checking 10A fuse # 71 in the IPDM, it supplies power to the brake light relay as well as powering stuff in the instrument cluster.
Also check 10A fuse # 20 in the cabin Fuse Block - J/B, that is the one for the brakes. The brake circuit is pretty simple, power goes from that fuse, through the brake switch mounted on the pedal, directly out to the tail lights. Sometimes the brake switch itself will break the little plunger off. It's much less common for the harness to be damaged in the coupe because it doesn't pass through the trunk.
