A/C, engine power loss issue

Hello, new here. I've had my G for about 7 years now, not many issues up until now. This current one has me scratching my head. So basically when the A/C button is lit up (I guess meaning the A/C compressor is on) the car seems like it loses a lot of power. Lights come on the dash, the car gets very jittery and jolty, when I turn on the windshield wipers they're jittery as well. But the A/C or the heat will blow just fine. A/C is ice cold and the heat is hot. First i thought it was the alternator or something but I got it checked and it was fine. I have no idea what it could be lol any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

The slip light, the VDC light, and the check engine. Once i turn the A/C button off, the slip and VDC turn off but the check engine light stays on. It turns off after i drive for a couple days though.
