clean

black grill w/ emblem

anyone know where i can purchase a black grill that allows retaining the emblem? i can't seem to find one. does everyone just paint the stock one? if so, whats the best option to get the best finish for it? thanks

I painted mine with obsidian black and clear coated. My car color.
The emblem comes right off.
I’ve seen some painted flat black.

How long ago did you paint it and how has it held up? I've seen a few painting processes but they sanded the whole thing and then used special primer, then paint, then clear coat.

I just cleaned it with Mek then painted,cleared it and light wet sand and cleared again.
I don’t put to many miles on it. But it seems to be holding up. It’s been about a year.

I sanded, washed and plastidipped mine and it has held up fine.
