Rear main seal leaking! Lucas Stop Leak? Reputable shop in NY?

So I have a pretty bad rear main seal leak. First, would you guys use Lucas Stop Leak for the time being? I need to find a reputable shop that will do the repair the right way. If anyone here can vouch for a good shop in or around NY please let me know. I was thinking maybe use the Stop Leak till I find something.
thanks

What part of NY? And more than likely the upper pan has to come off too, it’s not a fun job.

Stop leak won't fix a leaking rear main seal.

Are you 100% sure it's the RMS though and not coming from the back of the valve cover or cam sensor o-rings? I would definitely get a cheapo telescoping inspection mirror and a good flashlight and look around on the top back of the engine to rule it out.

If it's dripping on the ground pretty quickly it will be easy to identify if it's the much more common valve cover gasket leaking as opposed to the much less common rear main seal.

...going through a similar thing. I have a pretty bad leak off the back (2003 G35 M6) and I figured I would replace the gaskets on top first anyway, especially with the miles on mine (100,000). Plus, it's something you can do without too much trouble, all sitting in the driveway. I am replacing the valve cover gasket, the spark plug tube gaskets (I can see they are hardened and leaking down in the spark plug hole), and as said above, lets's see if that is the problem. Then if it's not, tackle the RMS, as that will require some work.
