Possible power steering pressure switch?
Possible power steering pressure switch?
Hello all,
While I am still trying to yet again replace my Rear main seal and see if it works, I thought I would ask about my next issue once I get this together. The car is a 2003 Manual Coupe. At this point, starts up just fine, no errors. Driving it around, seems to be after it's warmed up , but that's not a guarantee, if you are driving and then slow down or brake abruptly or really with any significant push down on the pedal and the RPMS drop, it doesn't see to matter whether in gear or not, it will stall out. It doesn't really seem to matter the speed, so coming off the highway onto a offramp, where I am not really slowing down super fast, but briskly, it will stall. Definitely coming down to a stoplight it will stall. Now, it will start right back up , no weirdness on that part. At first I was thinking this was a vacuum leak, but I've replaced every vacuum hose I can find, and I have resealed and replaced all intake gaskets, valve covers, etc. I've been reading about a possible steering pressure switch, could that be the issue? I've also reset the idle learn on the car, thinking that might be it, no change. Reset the ECU, no change. These make me think some sensor physically has failed, but I am a little lost for what to try next.
Thanks for any advice.
