Hello! So I am trying to find a good aftermarket cold air intake for my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, and I found this one that looks good, but just wondering if it has a spot to put the MAF, or if there is a way that I would need to Jimmyrig the sensor in. also, just let me know if that is a terrible intake overall.

You don’t want any pre-post maf leaks or your car will run terribly. Buy one that fits it perfectly.

Try to find a "rev up" airbox and use the 350Z intake tube "z-tube".

That's the best combination for these cars unless you're getting a tune and a larger throttle body. Plus it's all Nissan OEM equipment so it bolts up perfectly (you will also need the 350Z PCV hose if you get the actual OEM 350Z tube, you can use the G35 one if you get the Stillen tube clone).

Plus the OEM stuff sucks cold air, most aftermarket ones suck engine bay air which causes them to actually lose power.

Well they could always be wrapped in heat reflective tape which helps with the radiant heat However metal is a conductor so it's always going to heat soak pretty badly.

They are shiny though, one day I do plan on putting a 3.5" tube and 75mm TB on some day, I'm lazy though, heck I still haven't even plugged in that Uprev tune yet and it's been like 9mo...
