Anything you guys think i could do? 400$ is not a large percentage difference in price, but man, i could buy some stuff with that.

Has anyone ever been able to get a refund on the deposit or get the dealer to match a better price? Thanks guys.

 

i believe the deposits are usually refundable. go to the dealer and tell them you want to cancel the order and get your deposit back unless they match/beat your other offer. if the refund is not refundable, tell the second dealer that you will go with them if they make the price better by the deposit (you will lose) plus a bit more.

 

you absoulutely can can get your deposit back, I've done it twice here in NY. Only after you get your deposit back, tell the dealership why you ask for it back and ask them to match the lower price.
