Just bought my 2004 sedan. Bought it not running but as i figured it was the flywheel misaligned. Got that sorted and all put together but now i can’t get it to idle. Will start but stalls immediately and giving it gas will cut power. It will start and idle normally when maf is unplugged but i have tried a new maf and a friends maf. The maf can be plugged in while running and nothing changes. There is no obstruction in the intake, the mafs were all tested for continuity etc, new z1 pcv hoses, new intake, plenum and injector seals and gaskets. Ive inspected every vaccuum hose and wire and I still have no solid clue what it could be. Also no codes except for acsd. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

Probably the idle air needs to be set, warm it up with the MAF unplugged then do the idle air recalibration.

 

Also, your throttle closed position recalibration might be an issue too. Engine doesn't need to be warmed for that one.
