Cooling fans not working
Cooling fans not working
Hi guys! I have an 04G35 just got it up and going again about after a year. Started driving fine, month later had to replace the radiator and thermostat. Another month went by and I notice my car overheating and leaking coolant. I had to tighten a hose. After that I noticed it still overheating but this time the fans weren’t coming on. I replaced fuse and all 3 relays. I also replaced coolant temp sensor. I was told it could be the fan module or the wiring/sensors . Any ideas or tips? Would love to get this back on the rode asap for Summer.
Since you replaced the radiator I would first check to make sure you plugged the fans back in.
The fan relays get their power from the fusible link fuse slots I and H, both are 40amp fuses.

Our cars are getting old.
We just had the motor replaced with a JDM.
After driving it a bit, it started losing coolant then finally overheated. That turned out to be a tired hose spring clamp.
Then it overheated again a bit later. That turned out to be a dead fan unit (the unit was an eBay special I had replaced some years before).
It wouldn't surprise me that your oem fans are toast.
You can believe that QA knows exactly and designs in how long they will live.
I plan to blast my fan relays just because..
