Hi everyone, I’ve been looking through old posts and searching through forums everywhere to get some sort of guidance.

My TPMS light and ABS light were illuminated so I took my mx808 scanner out to check the codes, only to discover the Obd2 port can’t read my scanner. Today I checked / replaced the fuses for the cigarette lighter and the data link connector to no avail.

The guy I bought it from said he had the engine swapped from a non-revup to a revup so off the bat I know a lot of connections are frankensteine, however the pinouts for the obd2 port are similar to a YouTube video I watched (specifically on reflashing the ecu to get the engine to work from nonrev > rev), minus a red wire that’s missing from my obd2 port. I can post pictures of the pinouts, not an issue, but if anyone has any experience with this sort of problem, any sort of guidance would help at this point.

I tested the #4 and #16 pinouts, 0V at #16 so there could be a break in the wire somewhere between fuses and the DLC.

thanks for reading.

Exactly what year is the car.

Are you sure they didn't go revup to non-revup? This is usually what happens because people don't want to pay 3x as much for the revup engine.

The cigarette lighter fuse is in the cabin Fuse Block - J/B, the diagnostic port fuse is IPDM fuse 89 for pin 8 and the fusible link fuse 34 for pin 16. I suspect the fusible link fuse is blown.

Pin 4 and 5 are ground so make sure they both have continuity to chassis ground.
