Nice looking ride. I wanted a black at first, but then I compared it side by side with the silver and I liked silver better.

Anyone else share my thoughts?

Your car looks great! Black does look soooooo nice when it is all spiffed up!

There is a guy at the gym and he just bought a 2005 black G and it looked great the first day I saw it, but the very next day there was a layer of dust and his car needed cleaning again.....this is why I will not to buy a black or white car! I chose the diamond graphite color....dark but not too dark...........

Did Infiniti change the color of the grille for the '05's? Attached is a pic of my '04 grille which has a "gunmetal chrome" finish. It looks like the grille on your '05 is regular chrome.

I usually wash my car twice a week and on saturday or sunday i'll wax it, vacume, everything. cali dust it the rest of the week.

thanks for the comments =P

On my '04, the Mt. Fuji logo is "regular" chrome and the grille is a darker "gunmetal" chrome. It looks like your '05 is all "regular" chrome . Anyway, your car looks great. I had three black cars in a row before I got my Caribbean Blue G. Black looks awesome but it drove me crazy trying to keep it clean.

It is the same way on the '05's, the Mt. Fuji is regular chrome (no tint), and the grille has a tinted chrome on it making it just a bit darker. This causes the Mt. Fuji logo to be brighter than the surrounding grille and stand out a bit.

It doesn't look that way in the pics of the OP's black '05. I guess it's just the way the pics came out.
