Front splash guards

Front splash guards
My service manager informed me that if you have the performance package (G929c) you cannot install front splash guards due to the addition of a rocker panel under the doors. Rear splash guards are okay. Anyone experience the same advise? Is this really true?

He is referring to the G35 Sedan package, the coupe does not have a performance package.
The sedan has side skirts and front and rear lips
The coupe has no added panels, just a front lip and splashgaurds
