Hey you all, Well I have been getting this code since November time frame.

What I did and not thinking about it was I ran a tank of non ethanol 89 in the car (probably not the smartest move ) and within about a half tank I begin getting codes. Got both catalytic converter codes even though the cats were replaced about 6 months prior and this P0024.

Did come reading and it states that it might be the VVTI solenoid so I went ahead and replace both of them and both cats. Cleared the codes and drove for a few days without any issues. CEL finally came back on and it’s the P0024 code. Is there anything else I can look at replacing to get this fixed? Someone mentioned the cover on the end of the exhaust cam with the blue sensor but I’m not sure what that does since it’s a rev-up model and if I’m not mistaken the cover is rev-up specific.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I change out the spark plugs? Double iridium’s is what I’m running currently.
