Need help

Can anyone help me figure out where the tick is coming from in my 04 g35? I have a tick coming from the passenger side of the motor and verified it’s not coming from the timing chain and kind stumped for now without diving into the valve cover can anyone help me

Use a mechanics stethoscope to probe around and listen for where it's the loudest, helps a ton.

It sounds the loudest in between the first coil and timing cover on the passenger side

I had a similar tick on my '05 G35, which turned out to be a noisy lifter. If you're exploring tech upgrades, too, you might look into android application development services while you're under the hood. Keep us posted!
