Looking for some insights into HID bulbs. Got a new set of custom retrofitted 07 headlights I'm going to be installing in a little bit, wanted to get new bulbs and ballasts and ignitors. What's the difference between a D2R and D2S bulb exactly? Can I use either or? Is one better than the other? And for ballasts and ignitors, where would be the best place to buy them? Z1 has the ballasts but no ignitors and I'm not sure compatability wise which ignitors would work.

D2R is to be used in a reflector housing.
D2S is for projector housings.


I would just get a complete HID kit from
DDM Tuning on Amazon. It will come with the bulbs and the ignitors.

Do u know what color light output you want?
