word of advice, stay away from the mach 1's , the 2004's, with that ram hood intake. we were both at the gas station admiring each others cars, when we both decided to run. he had flows, at the time i had injen intake/exhaust. i pulled my best shifting ever, stuck with him from a highway onramp untill 3rd, then he pulled extra hard on me, with 2 other people in the car!! by 100, he had about 2-3 car legnths on me, we went at it again on the highway, those tq #'s are too much for the G. anyways id love to see him again with my testies on and soon to be pulleys.

Why shouldn't it happen? Maybe the GT guy had no idea how to launch, this would cause him to lose to 60....wouldn't it?

I "sort of" raced a new stang in my 2004 coupe. We were both on I5 in OC CA, and were running at 90 or so, so we were next to each other and were testing each other out a bit. We both got off at the same exit, and chatted a bit at the light, both of us impresed with each other's car. I actually told him to gun it from the light while I had my windows down so I could hear his V8. While the performance of each car seemed to be about the same, that V8 sounded WAY better! It had such a nice growl, which is why I always like Mustangs.

The mustang was probably relatively new. The engine may have needed breaking in which is a very important factor on HP #s. I dunno why he would be racing it for then...who knows???? Good Kill...
