Woohoo! I've had the car for 4 days now and I can't stop making excuses to drive it. I'm coming from a 97 Accord SE 4dr, so u can imagine the difference... Sorry this post doesn't contribute much, but the car was so hard to find (picked it up in LA) and it was just so 'worth-the-trouble'. Great info on this site.

I'm waiting for my IP G to arrive, but I don't think they started building it yet...I was told by me sales guy, I will get it late Apr/early May

I will be keeping my 99 Lude though.....cannot wait til I have 270 Ibs of tourque under my right foot once the G arrives

On what date did you order your vehicle? My wife ordered her 05 CPE 6MT on 1/27/05 and we still do not have a projected delivery date.

 

did you get a vin number yet? i ordered mine around that time and i got a vin and was told i should get my car around the 23rd of this month..as long as you got a vin that means your car is being shipped right now

 

We have not been told a VIN # yet - we received a letter from the local dealer confirming the fact that our car had been ordered. We received that letter a few weeks after the day we ordered the car - 1/27/05. I had penciled in on my calendar a note to call them later this month - eight weeks from the day we ordered the car.

The only other communication that we have received was a call from the dealer about a week ago saying he had a CPE on the lot that would likely make us happy, however we declined and told them we're patiently waiting for "our" car to arrive.

Sweet. Almost bought an Ivory Pearl but was trading out of a pearl white Maxima and my wife didn't feel like she would be driving a new car. My logic didn't work.. It's okay, I love the DG/Stone we chose just as much.
