I'd rather be underestimated.
As said in previous replies, shop around until you find someone you're comfortable with. Do try to talk to the sales manager. There's usually more wiggle room in price bacause they're not adding on the sales commission for two people. It also helps to shop on the internet and find someone that way. (Internet sales have rock bottom prices but they make up the money in the finacing department. The money issue is another thread and has been discussed to death.
)Bottom line? Walk out if you're uncomfortable. Go to a different dealership. I shopped three before I bought from (of all things) my local one. However, I never would have purchased from the original guy who talked to me.
Best of luck!

I had similar issues w/ getting my 05 coupe. me and my friend were going to go local. They treated us well and let us test drive as much as we wanted and they even let us pick any car from the back lot (just came off the truck
) and drive it, but when it came down to negotiating...we were told that "Why should he negotiate w/ us, when he has 10 more ppl in line who would be willing to pay MSRP or more for this car". That pissed me off and then they didnt have the fully loaded AB that I wanted either. So long story short, I went to Grubbs Infiniti (Texas) and ordered in Jan 05 and received it in April w/ everything that I wanted and they even paid for shipping directly to my door w/13 miles on it...it was like christmas in April
The free shipping only depends on what kind/name of company you work for. They have a list of companies and mine was their, but my friends wasnt, but he still got a good deal overall. I would contact them and see what they can do for you.

I can't remember where I saw the link but remember a thread about the Coil-overs that the Early G Owners were wanting. It was funny reading it because you can tell that the G was so new that nothing was really available for it at the time. Gotta love the early adopters.

Making a deal without a test drive????? that is crazy.
I would just go find another Infiniti dealer.

waste of time, gas, & mileage
so yea I have incorporated that rule also, If u really want the car we make a non-binding verbal deal (no money or signatures involved)
...if u dont like how it drives or anything else u dont have to buy it
