the pads help a little. they distribute the pressure a bit more. the seatbelts are still very annoying though.

I think the Hello Kitty pad gives more cushion.

I got the Infiniti pads because of the "choking" thing and the fact that the seat belt also rubs the leather on the corners of the driver's and the passenger's seat. They definitely lessen the "choking" sensation and eliminate the seat rub. But, they are a bit of pain in the a$$ because the belt cannot retract completely and you kind of have to mess with it to get it out of the way when getting out of the car.

Dont get me worng, I love the car but if there is one thing worng with it, are the seat belts that are very thight comparing to other cars of the same class where you almost do not feel them. I am 6" feet tall by the way.

So Nimso pads here I come, hmm 24$ a piece bit steep if ask me.

Got the Infiniti pads on eBay (as usual) and they keep the belt off your chest (if you put the pad on the corner of the seat where the belt rubs the leather) and it eliminates any choking effect or tightness across your chest.

never had any problem w/ my seatbelt. other seatbelts wont retract too if its twisted or something, but other than that it works just fine and is not in the way getting out of the car. my previous cars were all coupes so probably ive gotten used to these seatbelt positions.

I know a member on this board recently had a passenger side buckle receiver installed on his driver side to lower the angle of the seatbelt. Not sure if it eliminated the choking effect, but I find that the driver side seatbelt sits high. If I get around to trying this out, ill share my results.
