My G35 is making a WOOOO sound?
Its a light "humm" sound when shifting or letting go of the gas pedal...absolutely normal. I've got it and so do other members. As long as no check engine light and car is running fine, don't worry bout anything.

gest... in all seriousness... are u in a colder climate? i also have this noise when i start the car cold (in the morning or after sitting outside for a while). it goes away after maybe a few minutes of driving when the car warms up. sounds like an owl hooting at me... or wind whistling 
. i find it annoying... but at least it goes away for me. it's a constant noise... meaning it's not affected by speed/clutch/blah blah. is this the same thing that u have? just curious. i also have no idea where it's coming from. at first i thought it was wind noise coming through the weatherstripping, but rolling down the windows doesn't fix it. so it's something else. very mysterious. i think it's a gremlin that has hitched a ride from the assembly plant
